wow

I guess I kinda suck at this.... but, now that I've quit my job and so now sit at home all day trying to find things to do, I should have more time to blog. Not that I will have much to blog about.
Let's see.... today I did laundry, started packing for Erika's bachelorette party/wedding weekend, ate a flatbread sandwich, took a shower, and ordered daddy's father's day present.
Hey, at least I showered...

TGIF!!

Here are some pictures that made me giggle today...

This is what sad looks like.

Who can resist a skitty stache?

Oh Jeebus...Clearly, her husband came home sooner than either of them had expected.

And that about does it, folks. I'll probably write a real entry later on today. I will most definitely have some time on my hands...

How clever of you!

How do they know that that's Mary Kate and not Ashely? Regardless, they both looked like little trolls.

Yes, I can see the resemblance. However, Nixon was not NEARLY as skilled in covering up his schemes for world domination as was The Brain.

Finally, a reference to "The Dark Crystal"! Pfft.... it's about time, am I right? :)

This is by far one of the creepiest things that I have ever seen and, being my father's daughter, I've seen a lot of heinous shit!

I find this to be insulting to our chimp brothers and sisters. Nevertheless, I can't help but laugh.

hysterical.

Football and Observant Judaism??

Today’s entry from my daily calendar, A Little Joy, A Little Oy:

“If you’re a Jew, chances are you won’t be throwing pro pigskin. Fans we may be, but the aggressive game is not a cultural priority for Jews—and generally not an “appropriate” career choice for children. Alan Veingrad is a notable exception. During his seven-year NFL career, with the Green Bay Packers from 1986 to 1990, then the Dallas Cowboys from 1991 to 1992 [where he won a Super Bowl ring], Veingrad was a secular, or “lite”, Jew. After he retired from football, a fateful meeting with a rabbi at his cousin’s Torah class changed his point of view. He started studying, and went on to become an observant Jew. He considers his years with the NFL a great forum to encourage others, especially, young children, to learn Torah and become educated in Judaism.”

Blaaaarrrrffffff!!!!!!!!!

Well, this year has gotten off to a KICKIN' start! I caught a nasty stomach virus on Sunday night, hours after eating a big ol' juicy steak. Yeah, I may never have the same relationship with steak ever again. I was laid-up for two days-- it was gross really. Leaking from all sides. Nasty business. So, needless to say, I haven't been to the gym in a few days. I was planning on going today after work, but at around 3:00, I got a call from a pathetic Chris saying that he felt like crap. So we didn't go. I had to stay home and take care of him. He did it for me, after all. I still can't eat solid foods, so I guess it was best that I didn't go anyway. That's about it for me I
guess. I'm bored. Chris is dying. Here's a picture of Scooter:

New Year, New Me...

...well, if all goes according to plan, that is. Here's the jist of it:

1. Join (and go to) a gym.

2. Start swimming again.

3. Swim at least 5 times a week.

4. Volunteer more. And by more, I mean at all...

5.  Read at least one book every month.

6.  Save money.

7.  Start a blog.

One down, 6 to go. Word Up.
